Bloom Fertility & Healthcare, founded in 2010s, is an ISO 9001:2008 certified (Entry level) certified Multi Speciality Hospital and have been accredited by the Indian Society for Assisted Reproduction (ISAR) and Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).
Bloom Fertility & Healthcare is an accredited IVF Centre, and has been officially recognised as one of the best IVF centres in Chennai the Indian Society for Assisted Reproduction. To date, we have successfully treated over 10,000 couples for infertility.
Our aim is to ensure that every patient who walks into Bloom Fertility & Healthcare is given the highest levels of attention, treatment and service so as to ensure optimum health and well being. Today, our hospital at Velachery is a 50-bed facility with 4 advanced Operation Theatres, 100-plus consultants, and 200-plus staff.
Our Journey in Brief
2010 - Inception of fertility care under the name of Bloom Child & Women Wellness at KK Nagar.
2011 - Establishing a 'Fertility Only' outpatient department at Tansi nagar, Velachery.
2012 - Relocation of outpatient department and induction of Ambulatory Care in Sasi Nagar, Velachery.
2014 - Inauguration of Bloom Fertility & Healthcare Hospital at Taramani Link Road.
2016 - Launch of Bloom Birthing Centre – A Natural Birth Boutique.
2017 - Establishing Bloom as a multispecilality hospital with various other departments such as General Medicine, Nephrology, Gastroenterology etc.
Inception of Dialysis Unit.
2018 - New associations with healthcare partners.
2019 - Launch of new day care center at Kodambakkam, Chennai.

Management Team
Dr. D. Gautham Sigamani, MBBS, M.S (Ortho)
Managing Director
Dr. D. Gautham Sigamani is a post-graduate, with a specialisation in orthopaedics. Prior to founding of Bloom Fertility & Healthcare, he worked as Assistant Professor in SRM Medical Research Centre (SRM MRC). Dr. Gautham is also the Chairman of Surya Engineering College. He is also a Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha.
Dr. K.S. Kavitha Gautham is a renowned obstetrician and gynaecologist, and a super specialist in reproductive medicine and high-risk obstetrics, with a post-graduate degree, diploma in reproductive medicine and training in gynaecological laparoscopy surgery. She has performed (around) 10,000 deliveries, 10,000 hystero laparoscopy surgeries and more than 5,000 IVF cycles to date. She is a Life Member of the European Society of Reproductive Medicine & Indian Society of Reproductive Medicine, and All India Congress of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Obstetric and Gynaecological Society of Southern India, Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India, and the Indian Medical Association. She is a Fellow of the Indian College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology and International Medical Science Academy, and FIMSA.
Dr. Kavitha has been the recipient of several awards, including the prestigious J.L. Javeri Award (AICOG, 2005), Excellence in Healthcare – Infertility & IVF Treatments award (The Chennai City ICON Awards, 2019), WONDER FOGSIAN award (FOGSI, 2019). She was the first doctor in South India to successfully conduct a water birth.
Ms. Anita Krishnaswamy
Chief Executive Officer
Ms. Anita Krishnaswamy’s professional experience spans around 30 years. She has been in leadership positions for more than a decade in varying businesses, spanning education, ITES, mobility to inter-cultural studies. She brings to the table expertise in optimising business operations, portfolio expansion and finance. She has extensive knowledge and experience in managing human resources across diverse fields and developing and honing the next generation of leadership and talent to align with the organisation’s goals. One of Anita’s key interests lies in exploring the organisation’s culture – a key driving force behind the communication put out by companies to their target markets and customers. Her expertise lies in using that knowledge to help companies align their key values and motivations for business success. She enjoys exploring and addressing all of the above through the channel of business coaching.
Anita firmly believes that every company, like every individual, is unique. Crafting solutions is thus not the result of applying test hypotheses or theories but of conducting an empathetic survey and then modelling a solution that is fitted to the specific contours of the issue.
Dr. Chittaranjan, MBBS, MS - Orthopaedics
Medical Director
Dr. K. Chittaranjan is an Orthopedist and Traumatology Specialist at Bloom Fertility & Multispeciality Hospital, Velachery, Chennai. Dr.Chittaranjan holds an MBBS from Annamalai University (2001) and MS–Orthopaedics from Madurai Medical College (2005). He has over 16 years’ experience in his domain, and is a member of the Indian Medical Association (IMA).
